Boy, is this verse right. We have been handed a full load of turbulence, yet my family and I have been granted peace and acceptance in our hearts. In moments of darkness, anger, and frustration we get blinded and push people away. Yet, we get reminded to keep walking, Robbie has a purpose and that we were given the honor to be his parents because we can tackle any turbulence coming his way. We also have days of triumph where we witness moments we never thought would be possible.
It was a rocky road to get to this point. His first pair of custom shoes were a total fail. Leading us to believe that Robbie would never be able to wear a pair of shoes. He could not walk in the pair of shoes that were specifically made for his needs. Robbie is now able to wear and walk with a pair of modified Nike Shoes thanks to the hard work and dedication of Wes, a shoe cobbler from Gilroy, CA.
Steve and I were not sure if this project could even be possible let alone be so successful. Robbie put those pair of Nikes on and took off as if he's been wearing shoes for days. We are beyond Blessed and thrilled to share this video with you all.
